While social media has many benefits, such as providing a way for people to connect with others and share information, it can also have negative effects on mental health. Introduction:

Methodology:
The study used a cross-sectional survey of 1,000 individuals, with the majority of participants being between the ages of 18 and 45. The survey asked participants about their use of social media, as well as their thoughts and feelings about it. The results were analyzed using statistical methods such as chi-square tests and logistic regression analysis. The study found that social media use was significantly associated with increased symptoms of anxiety and depression.

Conclusion:
The study highlights the importance of minimizing the use of social media and promoting healthy communication practices in order to protect individuals\’ mental wellbeing. The results suggest that social media use can have a significant negative impact on mental health, with many individuals experiencing symptoms such as anxiety and depression.
